Contact

All contact shall be made through the parent hosting website, or via e-mail.

Any inquiry regarding specific adoptables and/or customs are best through private notes.

******

Payment

All payment shall be made in $USD, as are the prices posted.

I accept PayPal as a means of payment.

  • Send Money, Paypal.me, and other client to artist payment options may be used.

  • Please do not send payment unless I have explicitly asked you to do so.

  • Invoicing is the only way I will take payment for amounts over $30.

    • If a client ignores the above and uses the ‘send money’ function, I will refund the money received but I am not responsible for any fees you may have been charged in the process.

  • All digital images delivered will not be shipped in a physical form to your address, even if an address has been provided by you through means of Paypal. What I charge is for my labor and the right to use its product.

  • I do not charge for the Paypal fee.

  • Any payment made shall be from a verified PayPal account, belonging to the purchaser ONLY; any violation of PayPal TOS such as shared accounts or fraudulent accounts, such as those owned by minors, are prohibited. Chargebacks from any completed transactions will be disputed, and if necessary, further legal action can and will be taken.

  • Account (DA, FA, etc) from which the purchase is being made must be a minimum of 6 months of age, unless the user can prove they were active on a different account in good standing.

  • I reserve the right to refuse any payment.

Wire transfers are accepted only if the use of PayPal will incur unreasonable fees to either the client or the artist.

  • Amounts typically start from $1000.

  • Multiple PayPal payments can be made instead, with an additional fee.

Refunds

  • I do not offer any refunds for adoptables sold.

  • I do offer refunds for customs if, and only if I do not complete them within a timely manner; the client and I should discuss an appropriate timeframe for the custom, taking into consideration the implications of what is being asked such as effort and complexity which would lengthen the time needed.

Payment Deadlines

Payments will have two full days (roughly 48 hours) to make payment from the time a commission agreement is made. If no payment is received in that time, the client will lose their rights to the design and the design will be put back for sale,  unless the client has otherwise discussed other terms. Dropping out on either a hold or a sale will count towards a strike for its respective criteria. (See heading ‘Strike System’ for more information on how strikes work)

Payment Plans

When sums exceed $250, the client is eligible to enroll in a payment plan where the total amount is paid over a period of time.

  • A minimum downpayment of $100 is always required. This payment is non-refundable.

    • Downpayments are non-refundable to cover miscellaneous costs associated with a buyer dropping out of the purchase. All of my adopts are released on a schedule to allow time for transfer of funds for payment of bills and such; when a buyer drops out, it typically costs me late fees for those bills.

    • If a client opts to pay more than the required minimum for the initial payment, only the first $100 of the paid amount is regarded as non-refundable.

  • I do not accept payment plans exceeding 3 months in length.

  • Please take note of the due dates that have been set; while I do my best to remind clients when the date is coming up, it is not always possible.

  • Payments shall not be late more than two days from the due date; if the payment is late by more than two days, a reminder will be sent to the client. If the payment is late by more than a week, the down payment will be kept as compensation. All other payments (if any had been made in addition to the down payment) will be refunded as soon as possible and rights to the design will be revoked.

  • I reserve the right to decline any payment plan.

Revision Policy

In regards to customs, the client is allowed up to four revisions during the sketch stage; I want you to be happy with the result afterall! Any revisions in subsequent steps of more complex designs however are much more limited, and may at times be declined. Clients may also choose to pay an extra fee for any additional edits if they would like to.

Design Editing

Design editing for Closed Species

  • The integrity of the original design MUST be maintained; if it is not obvious that the two versions are the same design, it is most likely invalid.

  • Traits may typically not be swapped, whether it is for the same rarity or lower.

  • Traits cannot be swapped to higher rarities, ever.

  • Lore must be respected - by adopting an individual belonging to said species, you agree to abiding by its rules. Non-canon posts are welcome, but edits to the official lore cannot be made or declared by a non-admin individual.

  • Please contact for any questions if you’re unsure.

Design editing for Open Species and non-species

  • You may change any part of the design as you wish.

  • You may change the design to any animal or thing you like.

  • You do not have to notify me or the group it may belong to.

Trading Policy

  • Any adoptable trades of Closed Species MUST be posted on each designs’ respective masterlist post with the new owner. Any trade that is not publicly posted under the masterlist trade comment of a masterlist entry is VOID, as are any subsequent trades stemming from that one trade. . If any design, for whatever reason, is not on the masterlist, please contact (in order of preference) the species group, or Faios before proceeding with the trade.

  • Any designs that have been traded MAY NOT be resold if the trade was not for money. Trade money cannot exceed that of which you have paid.

Re-Sell Policy

  • Owners of closed species MUST reply to the same ‘trade’ comment under the design’s specific masterlist entry when a design is sold, specifying both the amount the design was sold for, as well as who it was sold to. Failure to do so will make the transaction void. If any design, for whatever reason, is not on the masterlist, please contact (in order of preference) the species group, or Faios before proceeding with the sale.

  • Designs may not be sold for more than what you have bought it for. Additional fees may be charged for any commissioned work of the design, but proof must be provided and presented to both the new owner as well as the masterlist comment. You MAY NOT charge for things such as ‘sentimental value,’ or art that was free such as bonus art or gifts. You may not charge for art you have drawn yourself.

Strike System

  • The strike system is a structure of administration I follow to try to discourage unwanted client-artist interactions, particularly in matters related to payment. Each offense has its own 3 strikes, although extreme circumstances may merit immediate blacklisting.

  • The following are the most common sources of a strike:

    • Non-Payment

    • Drop-Out of an Offer/Hold

    • Backing out of a bid

  • Aforementioned immediate blacklisting is usually from drop-outs of large sums of money, or malicious behavior where fraud is intended.
